Network Culture and Inclusion

Since 2015, the Federal Government’s Commissioner for Culture and Media has been promoting the Network Culture and Inclusion, for which the Academy of Arts Education has taken on patronage. The network discusses and further develops issues raised in artistic and cultural areas during the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. As a platform for professional dialogue and discussion, the network encourages exchange of experience and approaches from theory and practice, science and research, associations and politics.

The first network meeting was held from 1 – 2 October 2015 at the Academy of Arts Education addressing "The labour market and inclusion". The second meeting from 13 – 14 Oktober 2016 will focus on "Inclusion in education and training".
