Theatre as part of arts education contributes to affirming and locating one’s position in the world. Addressing literary, biographical and social issues under the protection of different roles makes it possible to holistically experiment with different values, courses of action and forms of existence through aesthetic distance. They may be tried out by way of examples in playful interaction and systems. In this context, the platform of the stage provides a field of experience in which past, present and future elements may be designed and/or discarded. It is possible to try out utopia, show fear and reveal one’s inner self without having to bear the consequences in the real world.
